EXPRESS PAY ENROLLMENT
How to Enroll in Express Pay at a Parkonect Location
1. Enter parking facility as a Transient parker.
Options
- Pull paper ticket
- Enter via Ten Key (Mobile Number Entry)
2. Scan the QR Code to initiate the Express Pay enrollment process powered by ParkWhiz.
- Scan QR code printed on your parking ticket OR
- Scan QR codes displayed on signs in the facility
3. Enter your Phone Number and the SMS code to verify your ParkWhiz account.
- First time ParkWhiz user will be prompted to provide an email address and credit card information.
- Existing ParkWhiz account holders the on account credit card information will auto-populate after entering the vehicle information.
4. Enter your vehicle’s license plate number and tap Add Vehicle.
- (Optional) Select Temporary Vehicle if you don’t want the plate saved to your ParkWhiz account.
5. Tap Start Session
- (Optional) Check "Enroll this vehicle in autopay - Quick entry and exit for future visits".
- Can edit credit card of file if needed
- Tap Start Session to generate your digital parking ticket.
A ParkWhiz account is required. If the user hasn't signed up yet, they'll need to enter an email address and provide their credit card information.
Express Pay Digital Ticket
Once the driver starts an Express Pay session, they now have access to a digital ticket for their parking session.
The digital ticket includes the following:
- Ticket QR Code
- QR Code can be used on PARCS peripherals such as a door reader or a self-validator scanner.
- Entry Date/Time
- Transient Ticket Number
- License Plate
- Credit Card on file (can still be changed if needed)
- Option to Apply Discount
- If a barcoded validation was provided, tap Apply Discount to scan.
Payment At Exit
On Exit, the enrolled Express Pay user will be automatically vended out by LPR capture and their credit card on file will be charged for their parking duration.
Autopay Enrolled User
If the user selected the autopay option, they will receive an SMS notification of the paid amount and a follow-up message regarding autopay enrollment for future visit to Express Pay facilities. An unenroll link is provided with the initial enrollment confirmation SMS and can used any time to unenroll the license plate from autopay.
Non-Autopay User
The non-autopay Express Pay user will receive an automatic SMS notification for the amount paid for the single parking session.
Receipts
In addition to the SMS payment confirmation sent to the parker, a receipt is emailed to the address associated with their ParkWhiz account. Parkers who are logged in to the ParkWhiz app can also view their payment details there.
